Mizu no Kotoba (Special)

Here at Lucky Channel, I (soon to be we) will also do some animé reviews. So, to start things off, here's "Mizu no Kotoba". It is a 10-minute animation that shows the power of language. It is an interesting find even though it's really short. The characters kind of talk fast sometimes though so it's kinda hard to keep up. It's like a post-modern themed animation that shows elements from popular culture such as The Matrix, iRobot, and 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. When you watch this short animé, you will feel like you're looking at an aquarium and observing the fishes in it which is exactly what the animé wants us to do. The title, Mizu no Kotoba, means aquatic language
Animation is great. Sound is great. Story-line is great. Overall it's great. I give it 5/5.
Here's a synopsis from the Anime News Network (ANN)
Several people are spending their evening in a cafe. Two gossiping girls, two debating men, a bookworm and a boy, who just broke up with his girlfriend. The cafe's waitress starts a chat with him, persuading him to take a look at certain easel, while other customers begin to notice unusual things.
