Birthday...

Tomorrow's my birthday..

But I won't be having anything in particular.. Hehe..

Tomorrow's just another normal day but surprises (highly unlikely) will be a nice touch though~

I'm not religious but I'm thankful for every day of my life. @12:00 a.m. +8GMT, I'll be officially 19 years old.

I got colds though~ Hehe.. But it's ok.

I got a great news today. My old MacBook Pro is already fixed and ready for pick-up.

Just sharing. My old MacBook Pro (Santa Rosa, 2.2Ghz) has one of those defective nVidia graphics chips. Apple fixed my laptop for me without any cost even though the unit's already passed its warranty. I had to wait for around two weeks though.

I actually bought a new MacBook Pro too after I sent my old one for servicing. Hehe. I really needed a laptop for school because it's deadlines season in my university.

The fun thing about it is that I bought my new unit with CASH stashed in my tiny messenger bag. Haha. It was a Php100,000 in total in Php500 bills. It was the most cash I've handled in my life.

So tomorrow (I'll pick-up my old one tomorrow), I'll have TWO MacBook Pros in my hands!

I also got a Nikon D90 this February just weeks before I bought a new MacBook Pro. I bought it together with a Nikkor 50mm ƒ1.8 in Henry's in Hidalgo, Quiapo, Manila. Hidalgo St. is the "photography mecca" of the Philippines. It's an area where you can find almost everything related to photography.

Going to Hidalgo was a great experience especially if you use public transportation. Just be careful about your money and your gear though. With the current financial crisis around the world, there's an increase in "weird behavior" in many struggling people. I went there with Php60,000 cash in my cramped wallet. I always buy things in cash. I don't have a credit card.
